Carolina Master Chorale: Silver Anniversary Season

I love good music and good music is even better when performed by good people.

Carolina Master Chorale (CMC) kicks off its 25th season with Carolina on My Mind on October 27 & 28, followed by A Christmas Garland in mid-December, the Choral Festival by the Sea concert with guest conductor Eph Ehly on March 1, Verdi's "La Traviata" in May with guest soloist Stephanie Gregory, and the Spain tour preview concert on June 8. The October concert features new arrangements of James Taylor's music by Dr. Andrew Fowler and the Christmas concert unveils the world premiere Dr. Fowler's "A Sacred Harp Christmas". Concerts are performed at several locations around the Grand Strand including the Theatre of the Republic in Conway, Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach, and Precious Blood Catholic Church in Pawley's Island.

Tickets are on sale and many shows will sell out early so get your tickets now! Call 843.444.5774 and leave a message, or go online to www.ticketweb.com and search for "Carolina Master Chorale".

Kimberly Hill Photography is a proud sponsor of CMC and, on a personal note, I'm also the proud mom of its youngest member. For more information about CMC or to learn how you can get involved, visit their website at www.carolinamasterchorale.com. See you in the seats!

Kayleigh - trash the dress

From the first half of Kayleigh's senior session. She's so pretty!

An ordinary fairy tale

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.

A little crabby

Princess EC wasn't too sure about the crab we chased up from the shoreline but she got over her fear in about 3 seconds flat and then it was all Dad could do to keep the crab out of her hands!

I had SOOOO much fun at your Celebrating Adoption session today! Thanks for choosing me as your photographer and I can't wait to see you again!

You can take the Band Geek out of the Band...

... but you can't take the Band out of the Band Geek!

Please note the COLLEGE freshman walking in with the St. James HIGH SCHOOL marching band. Yep, he's mine.

Football2

Last night was the season opener for SJHS and great fun was had by all (especially the bugs). The Sharks beat the Warriors 33 to 30 and I got to watch some of my Senior Model Reps perform with the color guard and band. Just some quick snapshots of Jackie and Lizzie -

Special: Show and Share!

P2c_showandshare_2

This special has expired - thanks for your participation!

Do I have a deal for you! Order a 20x24 gallery wrapped canvas (yum) and I'll throw in two 8x10 canvas Mini Masterpieces of the same image for $100 more.

These Mini Masterpieces are created just like our lucious canvas gallery wraps, but are mounted and ready for framing instead of wrapped on stretcher bars.

They look gorgeous on Mom and Dad's desks, not to mention they make great grandparents' gifts!

*attention: your favorite gameshow host's voice should be used while reading the above promotion  :)

How do you spell "KNOCKOUT"?

J-A-C-K-I-E, of course!

A quick sneak peek - I'll share more later!

Because it's F*U*N!

People ask why I do this. Why I'm a professional photographer. Because it's fun!!

Sharing some snaps from Saturday's session for senior model rep Jackie with my beloved assistant, Kayleigh... just for fun - we had a GREAT time and I have so much proofing to do!!
Sweet, conservative, preppy ::snicker:: Jackie did this pose all by herself. I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't push the shutter release!
Jackie
Poor Kayleigh. She really does anything I ask. I wanted Jackie's jacket off and the ground was less than clean so I dropped it on Kayleigh's head. She didn't miss a beat. I'm so sad marching band has started and I have to give her up. I keep telling her to quit band but she won't go for it. Big meanie!
