Holiday cards are here!

And they are absolutely gorgeous! I'm so thrilled with this year's designs and I can't wait for you to see them! There's something for everyone - modern, traditional, beach-themed, you name it.

  • 28 designs to choose from.
  • Your choice - folded or flat cards.
  • All printed on linen cardstock with envelopes.
  • 24 cards per set.

Those of you (brilliant) clients who pre-purchased your cards will receive an email the first week of October with instructions on how to select your design and images.

In the meantime, take a peek and start narrowing down your choice. I still can't decide which one we're going to use!  HOLIDAY CARDS GALLERY - CLICK HERE

Here are a couple of samples I just have to share:

The countdown has begun!

My suitcase is nearly packed, the gifts for my little girl to unwrap each day are purchased and waiting for tissue and ribbon, and I'm editing my last session.

On Saturday I'm off to Captiva Island for a week with some of the top photographers in the nation. Shooting by day, Photoshopping by night - just a little bit of heaven, eh? Check out the resort here: http://www.southseas.com/ I know. You feel sorry for me. It'll probably make you feel a lot better to hear that it's supposed to be 90+ degrees and RAINING the whole time I'm there.

We'll be back to work, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (or NOT), on Monday, October 1st at 9am. Please give us 24 hours to get everyone's calls returned!

Oh, and stay tuned for a BIG announcement tomorrow! muhahahahaha...

Swing it, then strike a pose!

Three 3-year-olds on the beach - they were SO funny! We had a blast... and Skittles.

He's back

Drew's been SOOOO busy with school and work but I was able to drag him away from his own college life to assist on the McC family session with me.

Just a snap of my boy snapping the McC's.

Oh, Jenni... THEY'RE HERE!!

My poor friend and fellow photographer Jenni T. has been waiting SO patiently to see more images than just the GORGEOUS one of her and her husband I sneak peeked here. Was it worth the wait, m'dear?

I'm it! I've been tagged

Thanks to pet photographer extraordinaire Barbara Breitsmeter and wedding photography genius (and Facebook temptress) Gerri Weatherbee, you're about to learn 8 random useless facts about the KH behind KHP and KSeniors.

The Rules.

Post the rules before you give the facts. Post eight random facts about yourself. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag eight people and list their names. Leave the people you tagged a comment on their blog, letting them know that they’ve been tagged.

1. I played an Oompa Loompa in our 5th grade production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." In a moment of insanity, I shared this information with my husband who has since used it to torment me over. and over. and over. and over.

2. I adore my mother-in-law.

3. I am THE rockstar of my car. Just ask anyone who happens to drive past me while I'm jammin' to the radio. True story: While driving to KY for a workshop last month, I had a gentleman pull up next to me at a gas station and tell me he had to stop and share how much he had enjoyed watching me belting out my tunes for the last 50 miles or so. oops.

4. My husband and ex-husband share the same first name, were born in the same state, and have the same birthday just one year apart. Yes, we get along great and yes, it's freaky beyond belief.

5. Feet massages are the way to my heart. Definitely the best part of a pedicure!

6. My favorite color is pink. I'm such a girl.

7. I'm a serious packrat. We live in a cute little condo near the beach. Not a good combination.

8. I love to read. Not deep, meaningful, socially important books, but romance/fiction. Nora Roberts is my favorite! I rip through a book in a couple of hours, then re-read it a gazillion times. I have a book in the car, in my purse, in the bathroom (what else do you do while you wait for your moisturizer or mascara to dry?), on the dining room table, next to my bed, on my desk, etc. and I will often grab a previously read book and just open it up to any page and start reading. Drives people crazy!

I'm tagging Michelle Pinheiro, Carla Blankenship, Laura Veraska, Stephanie Clark, Nancy Poole, Jenifer Samaha, Suzy Roberts, and Meggan Jacks.

Branded

Last night, The CrazyChineseBaby and I were in the stands rooting for SJHS in the Battle of Hwy 707 - fighting our archrivals, the Socastee Braves. Besides being a fun way to spend a cool late-summer evening with my girl, I was there to support my senior model reps and band kid friends.

As we're being slaughtered 14-0, I hand Jackie's senior model rep session portfolio album to Alex's mom. She looks at the logo'ed box and says "Oh.. you have a KSeniors! <silence> You are KSeniors!!" The album worked its way around the bleachers and was soon joined by Kerri and Jackie's senior magazines, Alexis' wallet album, and Emily's accordian-fold album all making the trek through the stands.

Wow. "a KSeniors"... that's kind of like "a Coach" or "a Chloe" or "a D&G". I think this calls for a glass of bubbly!
