Working on holiday cards in my cool office is a welcome relief to the heat outside so I thought I'd share some 2008 cards with y'all.

I talked these beautiful sisters into getting wet for me to do a little playing. I think it was more than worth it!
Since it was thundering heavily before our session, Miss Sophia and I had a chance to sit in the hotel lobby and chat. You see, Sophia is not a big fan of thunder. Not one bit! We talked about vacations, storm safety, clothes, shopping, storm safety, jewelry, brothers, storm safety, friends with hot tubs in their homes (you know, the usual) and I could've chatted with her for much, much longer! What a bright, funny, adorable little girl!
Her mama obviously thinks so too since she brought the necklace Sophia made her all the way to Myrtle Beach so she could be photographed wearing it. We decided the necklace, and the artist, needed to be featured all by themselves.
Hey Sophia, let's do lunch next time you're in Myrtle Beach! You bring your mama and I'll bring my CrazyChineseBaby. I think the four of us would have a blast!

In between, Mom and I both received a couple of bodily fluid cocktails but we won't talk about that. Besides, I always tell parents to expect it and it's all in a day's work for a newborn photographer!
Such a gorgeous family and just about every member of the family took it upon themselves to thank me for coming. Manners, looks, brains, and a heap of fun all tempered with a deep respect and love for each other. I can't wait to photograph the entire family next summer!
